A man was flown to a burn center on board a medevac helicopter early Sunday morning, though the circumstances surrounding the incident remain sketchy.
Brick Police as well as Brick Police EMS and MONOC paramedics responded to a home on Lynnwood Ave. at 3:36 a.m. Sunday for a medical call, according to Brick Police Capt. John Rein.
The resident of the home, a 47 year old male, had what appeared to be third degree burns on his hands, chest and neck. The man was treated for his injuries, but the actual cause is unknown at this time, Rein said.
The Pioneer Hose and Breton Woods fire companies, as well as the Berkeley Township Haz-Mat team and Point Pleasant Decontamination Unit responded to check the residence for any hazardous conditions such as spilled chemicals or fire, though none were found.
The victim, who was home alone at the time of the call, was transported to the Burn Center at Saint Barnabas Medical Center for treatment via MONOC medevac helicopter.

Human spontaneous combustion? Heard of it, some people say it's real, some say it's an urban legend. Very weird story.

I'm flattered you think about me so much that you feel the need to mention my name in a post I haven't even commented on! I really must have gotten under your skin, eh? Amazing how small minded you are to hold such a grudge over one disagreeing conversation.
Anyway, I usually only comment when facts regarding law enforcement and such are vague or entirely incorrect, either by patch or by commentators. There isn't much to this article to disagree with.

well if this isn't a coincidence of events;
Bannana Boat has a recall for one of their sunscreens because of people "catching fire" after using it and coming into contact w/ sparks or flames.
