Five Brick Residents Arrested on Drug Court, Child Support Charges

The Ocean County Sheriff's Office said arrested five Brick residents last month.

The Ocean County Sheriff’s Office said it made five arrests of Brick Township residents in November – four coming from drug-related charges and one from a failure to pay child support.

The Sheriff’s Field Services Division said in a press release on Dec. 4 that it had made 44 arrests countywide in November.

Those included three men who were charged separately with failure to comply with the Ocean County Drug Court Program: James Stevenson, 34, of Route 88, arrested Nov. 5; Anthony Ruzicka, 27, of Pershing Avenue, arrested Nov. 19; and Joshua Gaurino, 23, of Willow Avenue, Nov. 8.  Each was lodged in Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.

Lance Hahn, 46, Tunes Brook Drive, was arrested Nov. 14 on a warrant for violation of probation on original charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, the sheriff’s office said.  Hahn was sent to Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.

Ansel Applewhite, 20, Sawmill Road, was arrested Nov. 5 on a warrant for failure to pay child support of $1,390.   Applewhite was lodged in Ocean County Jail, pending his first appearance, the sheriff’s office said.

Theirs a saying that if {you Don't Pay} {you Stay}! It's only fair to your child that the absent parent pay the support. Wheather it's the mom or the dad.
