Care Packages for Brick Sandy Victims to be Distributed

Packages collected by Dumont, N.J. Police Department

 

Care packages for Superstorm Sandy victims put together by officers with the Dumont, Bergen County, police department will be distributed this weekend in Brick.

The items will be distributed at the P.A.L. building on Drum Point Road this Saturday and the following Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This Saturday, the packages will include holiday decorations. On Dec. 8, they will include household items and clothing.

That is so nice. I know quite a few people who lost there holiday decorations. Will spread the information.

it actually brought a tear to my eye. I think this is really cool. I love christmas and always have my baywood home decorated like the griswalds but i had all my outside stuff under my crawl space. I can afford to replace them but i want to take a box just because. My guess is many won't even know about this so i will try to spread the word to my neighbors.

I can't even express how moved I am that the great people in the town where I raised my children are reaching out to help us down here at the shore.
