Schools closed due to Hurricane Sandy's damage
Brick Township schools will be closed Wednesday, Oct. 31 and Thursday, Nov. 1 due to Hurricane Sandy.
Parents should notify others of the news, since the robocall system used by the school district is not working properly

Very Nice of you to post this. I am still trying to find out it my sisters' schools are opened or closed. No one seems to know. Has anyone heard about the Long Branch School District or the Springfield (Union County) School District? It would just be nice to know, one way or another. Thanks!

P.S.: Family members have been without power since yesterday. Cell phones have lost power. I am trying to help by texting a friend who charged his phone at work at a hospital today.

Eileen, I saw a posting on facebook from the West Long Branch Emergency management and said that schools will be closed I believe, the rest of the week.

Brick Schools are closed until November 12th.
