Brick Physicians on Magazine's 'Top Docs' List
New Jersey Monthly publishes annual list this week
Three Brick Township doctors earned inclusion on New Jersey Monthly's list of "New Jersey's Top Doctors," appearing in this week's issue.
The magazine polled 22,780 New Jersey doctors and asked them who they considered the state's best, naming 839 to the list.
The Brick physicians included on the list are:
- Mitchel B. Alpert, MD; pediatrics, cardiology. (732-458-9666)
- Manimala Roy, MD; pathology. (732-840-3217)
- Frank J. Sharp, MD; vascular surgery. (732-202-1500)
Also featured on the Top Doctors list is Toms River cardiologist Parag V. Patel, MD, whose office can be reached at 732-240-7777.

I do not in any way intend to disparage the above named medical specialists, but I have always wondered how much these lists have to do with good public relations and how much they have to do with good medicine. I just wonder as in my lifetime I have seen what I would consider to be excellent physicians who never made any such list and some not so excellent ones who did.
