Brick Man Indicted on Attempted Murder Charge
Caleb Applewhite faces charges over parking lot incident in Freeholder
A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict two men, one from Brick, on multiple charges surrounding an alleged Dec. 20, 2011 murder attempt.
Caleb Applewhite, 28, of Brick and Brian Buchanan, 24, of East Orange, together face eight charges surrounding the incident. According to their indictment, the men allegedly agreed to work together to commit the crime of robbery and attempted murder.
The two men allegedly used force while committing a theft in Freehold. The indictment further explains that the two men purposefully attempted to inflict serious bodily injury upon a person by using a handgun.
According to a 2012 report, the incident took place in the parking lot of Burlington Coat Factory. Applewhite and Buchanan allegedly used a handgun to rob a man of marijuana.
The two men have been indicted on conspiracy, attempted murder, armed robbery aggravated assault, aggravated assault by pointing a firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. In addition, Applewhite was also charged with certain persons not to have weapons, a second-degree crime.

Most probably. The men in black are driving these people out into the surrounding communities. The men in black will soon be here once they max out in Lakewood. each one has eight kids and they need room to grow.
This is why it is so important to fight back and create an atmosphere here where these people will leave and not stay.
A smaller town would be more succesful at ths I believe. I fear Brick will fall unless the culture of the town officals change and become more aggresive to this.

What town wouldn't want a family with 8 kids, no income (or taxes), and separate busing for boys and girls to private schools?
By the way, Lakewood (or should I say NJ taxpayers) pay 77 million dollars a YEAR for busing in Lakewood.

And JHill should point out that the 77 million dollars a year is used in large part, for busing to Brooklyn, New York!

@ Clown Baby While this has nothing to do with this story, if you spend any time in Lakewood at all, you would feel the same way.

ya no white people do anything wrong! most school massacres are done by white people (Columbine, Newtown, etc). The death at the Tip Top cabins has a white guy at the center of the investigation. I can go on and on but you get my point.

My fear is that people have been so influenced by "Diversity" that they will not stand up for themselves and their own culture.
Bottom line is the men in black, or blacks themselves will never reach across the perverbial aisle to you or I so why do we time and time again.

@WMS826
Most of the time, you can learn from other cultures unless of course, you are too consumed with yourself, right or wrong, rather than listening. Again I stress that these 2 individuals should be tried and if found guilty,be put away from society.

Anyone who is smart will be getting out of Brick sooner than later. To stay would be to have faith in those clowns on channel 20. They embarrass themselves and the town without fail. A shame, it used to be nice place to live.

The two guys in this article are low lifes and the street culture that they bring is FAR from perfect, but you have no constructive answers. What the hell do you really know about problem solving. I'm not a rap fan, but I sure as hell don't have a country collection.

Funny thing about you Libs Gene, your real quick to judge things like Country music but then tell me you learn so much from other cultures. I guess you truly are NOT open minded and love all things equal.
People need to get into the mind of the liberals to see how they believe the rest of us are beneath them and only they know the answers.
The answers are to crack down on section 8 housing by holding the landlord resposible Gene.

is only a matter of time before we loose a child in Sawmill like happened in Clayton last summer when those two animals killed that young girl for her bike. And no hate crime charges either were put forward since they targeted her because she was white.
Gene, move in there yourself, move into Asbury live among your people and tell me what I am missing out on, what tree of knowledge do I not see
