After accident causes car to turn upside-down, passengers report only minor injuries
A motor vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon caused a vehicle to overturn in the parking lot of Walgreen’s in Brick, but left the vehicle's occupants with only minor injuries.
The accident occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m. at the Walgreen's located at the intersection of Hooper Avenue and Drum Point Road. The occupants were able to extricate themselves from the car, which was then secured by the fire department. Patch will update this story as more information comes in.

Must've been a fast driver or a top-heavy car. Tight quarters in that parking lot. Not a lot of room for bootlegger turns. Kinda puzzling.

I like Walgreen's, but if the parking lot is full when the summer arrives, I will go to CVS, alot more parking.

How fast did someone have to be going in that parking lot to turn over? There's hardly enough room in there to turn over.

Perhaps the accident occured in the intersection and the car ended up in the parking lot.

Even going from the intersection to the parking lot would be difficult. Pretty much a 99% guarantee that somebody or both were driving like an idiot. I can't believe there isn't an accident every day at that intersection with the amount of people that continue to turn left onto Drum Point even after the arrow goes away and traffic is coming at them.

I witnessed the accident. The young woman driving a minivan was making a left into the Walgreens parking lot off of Hooper and a Ford escape Tboned her and it seemed like the minivan hit the curb and flipped. Thank goodness noone was hurt!

The minivan was actually not in parking lot, but the entrance by the drive up.
